About the team
The Deloitte Indirect Tax group focuses on improving the transactional and trading environment of business. As part of our Indirect Tax team, you’ll provide consulting advice and compliance expertise to clients for a wide range of indirect taxes, specialising in stamp duty and other State taxes.
What will your typical day look like?
You will provide stamp duty and State tax advice, compliance and consultancy services across a range of indirect tax matters including M&A, corporate restructuring and reconstructions, property developments, business acquisitions and other transactions.

You are someone with:
- A degree in Law, Accounting, or similar
- Experience working in a top-tier or mid-tier accounting or legal firm or the State Revenue Office or ATO
- Experience in managing matters independently and work together collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and with a high attention to detail you will draw on your corporate and commercial experience to think strategically to achieve the firm’s objectives and build strong relationships.

- Post-qualification indirect tax experience

In line with the Core Skills Income Threshold applicable for Skills in demand visas, the minimum salary requirement is $85,697 inclusive of the minimum superannuation contribution.
