This is a unique opportunity for a talented SMSF Manager to join the Deloitte Private Tax and Advisory team in Melbourne.

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

As an SMSF Manager, you will be part of a group of talented Managers, Directors, and Partners who assist some of Australia’s most iconic families and private enterprises. Your client portfolio will include self-managed superannuation funds (SMSF) for these family groups and high-profile individuals.

 

You will be responsible for a portfolio of funds, managing the workflow of the portfolio with the support of the SMSF team onshore and offshore. You will be reviewing financial packages and covering letters for distribution to clients as well as client engagement and billing management. You will be expected to identify consulting opportunities and will have the opportunity to undertake ad hoc consulting work. Your role will include coaching, mentoring and technical support to the team.

You are someone with: 

 

  • CA/CPA qualifications
  • SMSF experience required
  • Prior Manager/Supervisor-level experience at a professional or accounting services firm
  • Experience in Class software a must
  • Strong collaborative skills, a dedicated work ethic and excellent communication skills
