Deloitte’s Melbourne Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management team transforms how businesses manage product development information. We collaborate closely with our clients to provide a 360-degree approach to transformation projects regarding integrated system-based product development and the management of product data along the product lifecycle.

 

What will your typical day look like?  

As a Consultant in our Melbourne Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management team, you will provide excellent client service and apply your experience to:

 

  • Ensure high-quality outcomes for our clients by maintaining a strong commitment to excellence, and supporting their business, adherence to regulations, and quality objectives.
  • Lead and manage key activities to help solve our clients’ key challenges they face across the product lifecycle.
  • Develop compelling narratives that are well research and written supported by best practice frameworks and research.
  • Work collaboratively to up and cross skill your ability and knowledge while uplifting those around you.
  • Dive between technical, tactical, and strategic work to support and build skill in all aspects of Product Lifecycle Management Strategy, Systems & Software Engineering, Product Compliance, or the Digital Thread.
  • Attend training on your product lifecycle area of interest with aim to become a subject matter expert to provide elite advice both internally and externally.
  • Support leaders in discovery of new market opportunities and prepare proposals and scope new client engagements.

Our expertise extends to an end-to-end approach to provide Product Lifecycle Management Strategy, Systems & Software Engineering, Product Compliance, or the Digital Thread.

This involves delivering tailored solutions that meet stringent requirements while driving innovation and efficiency.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

 

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

 

  • Background in software or an engineering discipline with at least 5 years’ experience in process improvement and software solutions.
  • Exhibited delivery of high impact, high value business outcomes across Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domains with strong experience with PLM solutions.
  • Background in any of the major PLM systems. e.g., Teamcenter, Aras Innovator, Enovia, 3DX, Windchill, etc)
  • Support the project technical lead to analyse requirements, functions and define the solution design that supports the business processes.
  •  Have good exposure to various PLM platforms.
  • Understanding of information technology design and system development.
  • Knowledge of complex database and information management systems.
  • Keeps abreast of industry best practice process methodologies and tools.
  • Detailed design, build, and support testing of applications, including root cause analysis and proposal of alternate resolutions to technical issues.
  • Development of test plans and test cases, functional testing, issue resolution and user acceptance testing.
  • Responsible for timely identification, mitigation and management of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.
  • Develop demonstration environments and support for pre-sales activities.
  • Knowledge of complex database and information management systems.
  • Keeps abreast of industry best practice process methodologies and tools.
