What will your typical day look like?
You’ll work alongside a high-performing national team, leading complex insolvency and advisory engagements. You’ll support senior stakeholders through challenging financial situations, take ownership of key workstreams and help shape practical, commercially focused outcomes, including managing trading businesses during insolvency.
You’ll apply your commercial judgement, operational insight and financial expertise to solve complex problems and deliver work that makes a meaningful difference for clients.
You will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of a wide-ranging portfolio of insolvency and advisory matters.
In addition, you’ll also contribute to business development activities and mentor and support engagement teams, helping them develop their technical capability and confidence.
About the team
Our Performance Improvement & Restructuring team (PI&R) operates nationally, supporting stakeholders in underperforming, financially distressed and insolvent businesses. Our work spans formal restructuring and insolvency appointments, turnaround advisory, performance improvement, cash and working capital optimisation, financial restructuring and refinancing.

We’re looking for someone who brings:
- 4+ years’ corporate insolvency experience gained in a Big 4, mid-tier or specialist insolvency firm.
- Strong financial, analytical and critical thinking skills, with the confidence to work through complex issues.
- A commercial, curious and practical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships, influence outcomes and communicate with impact.
- A growth mindset, intellectual curiosity and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- A collaborative style and a genuine commitment to contributing to a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
- Relevant qualifications, or progress towards them, such as CAANZ, ARITA, CFA, MBA or equivalent experience.
