What will your typical day look like?

 

This role will see you engage directly with high profile banking clients on their most important and challenging business issues and addressing and solving their priority operational problems. In addition, you will be involved in:

 

  • Lead strategy, transformation, and operations projects, delivering results that drive meaningful change for clients in the banking and financial services industries.
  • Deliver business transformations, redefine operating models, execute service design and service delivery at Australia’s largest banks
  • Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to define objectives, manage project deliverables, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of banking processes to identify areas for operational improvement and transformation.
  • Apply data fluency and process optimisation / transformation knowledge to inform strategy and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Support business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, contributing to proposals, and expanding client relationships.
  • Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Process and Workflow Optimisation using Process Mining, Process Automation and Process Digitisation

The Deloitte Technology & Transformation Operations and Business Transformation team works with leading executives both in Australia and internationally who are faced with the requirement to transform operations, increase productivity, restructure lower costs and get the most out of the workforce and assets to remain competitive.

Our practice specialises in turning strategies into measurable and sustained results. In response to market demands for critical thinkers who can solve complex business problems, and our team is growing rapidly.

Our clients face challenges that range from transformation in response to market conditions through to disruption from technology advances such as AI, Automation and Process Mining that enable us to overhaul the customer experience and the efficiencies that can be gained from operations.  

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
In response to strong client demand for our services we are currently seeking a manager with extensive advisory and transformation/change experience in the financial services and banking industry.

 

Ideally you will also have the following:

  • Over 8+ years of experience in a Strategy & Operations consulting role at a leading professional services firm or an FSI organisation
  • Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of complex program management and the ability to manage multiple work streams in an agile manner and a diverse group of stakeholders through a sustainable change program
  • Demonstrable experience working within or consulting for the banking or insurance sectors.
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and delivering client-focused results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively
  • Awareness of Process Digitisation tools and Process Mining tools is beneficial
