About the role


Our Digital team in Melbourne is experiencing significant growth and we are seeking a Manager to help guide and grow the Digital practice in the Marketing, Data and Technology capability with a focus on programmatic delivery and media strategy. In this role you will provide direction and leadership to our clients and teams in relation to MarTech, AdTech and the marketing data landscape. You will bring your knowledge and experience in media and data-driven solutions to actively engage in the market and help build a high performing team.

Working with us means you will be responsible for:


  • Provide strategic advisory and implementation services specific to digital media planning and buying spanning programmatic display & video, SEM, paid social and native content – leaning on existing understanding of the technology landscape and continuing to develop expertise to stay on top of industry trends and movements
  • Help build cross channel campaign journeys, providing oversight on investment and performance optimisations, dynamic creative development, universal frequency and suppression controls.
  • Develop best practice frameworks to help clients with campaign objective design, measurement frameworks, experimentation, media operating models both internal and external.
  • Assist in wider marketing technology solutioning and implementations that integrate into digital media planning and buying
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal Deloitte teams, providing guidance and educational leadership to upskill the broader Digital team.


About you


  • Proven years delivery experience within digital / media agency / publisher or client facing consultancy,
  • Possess specific understanding and experience across DSPs, Adservers, DMPs, Web Analytics and Tag Managers, Social Listening, Verification tools etc
  • Ideally certified in GMP, Adobe Ad Cloud, Salesforce Ad Studio, Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience managing technical teams in delivering solutions using waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Strong understanding of frameworks and accelerators to continually drive better customer experiences and deliver outcome uplift e.g. Personalisation, Audience Strategy, Experimentation Frameworks
  • Strong experience as a Project/Program Lead managing project plans, scope, financials, delegation, variations, risk, and knowledge management
  • Successful track record in leading the delivery of high quality programmatic solutions for clients using these technology stacks
