What will your typical day look like?  
 

As a manager in our specialist healthcare consulting team, you will lead a team of Deloitte’s brightest minds to analyse clients’ needs and requirements for transforming financial and operations performance through the development of improvement strategies. This includes organisational redesign, supporting organisations to develop effective business partnering capability, through embedding end-to-end process improvements to enhance their client/ patient experience, and improve efficiency and productivity and/ or reduce costs.

You will leverage your superb interpersonal skills and remarkable business sense to support the wider team in business development and become an integral part of a leading healthcare consultancy practice in Australia and generate real insights to help deliver value to our clients.

Our high-performing and collaborative team offers specialist advice to the health and human services sector to enable and optimise our clients’ strategies, ensuring they are aligned with their organisation’s long-term goals and objectives. We have a passion for translating data and evidence into meaningful insights, with the primary focus of seeking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organisations at all stages of their growth, from designing the change required, to delivering and managing the change process, and providing assurance around change initiatives.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in Pathology, Medical Imaging or other Diagnostic Health Services with a strong knowledge of contemporary service models
  • Have sound financial management / business analytical skills, preferably CA or CPA
  • Experience leading or mentoring small teams and ability to plan and execute a project to deliver a superior client experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships, and leverage new business opportunities
  • The skills and experience to critically appraise, generate, analyse, collate and distil disparate commercial information, financial and operational data and evidence, at both a quantitative (including financial and numerical), and qualitative level, into concise and compelling insights that influence change.
  • Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings

A background in working in professional services or consulting will be viewed favourably but is not mandatory.
