What will your typical day look like?  

 

As part of the role you will and gain exposure to a range of high profile and complex accounting issues and work on those clients:  
 
•    Delivery of digitally enabled audits of socially responsible entities, Australian and international private companies, private equity firms and VC firms and ASX listed entities across a wide range of industries.
•    Exposure to prospectus processes and IPO readiness services.
•    Opportunity to work with our clients through the entire M&A lifecycle including advice on transactions (trade sale, financial sponsorship, IPO) including related accounting and tax matters and reviewing sale and purchase agreements.

Our diverse clients include top-tier private clients ranging from start-up founders through to established household names and ASX listed entities in consumer (retail, wholesale, hospitality), property, technology, healthcare.
 
In Audit & Assurance, our specialist accounting skills empower clients with a clear understanding of their financial position. We don’t just understand our clients’ businesses, we excavate major opportunities and identify risks beyond traditional financial reporting functions. Through constant collaboration and professional development, we turn clients’ frustration into assurance with our sophisticated and tailored advice on corporate transactions like acquisitions, divestments, recapitalisations and capital raisings.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 


You are someone with: 

  • An Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Business and/or Accounting 
  • Completed (or close to completion) CA qualification or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in external audit (ideally from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting services firm) 
  • Experience with a variety of industries is crucial – our clients come from diverse backgrounds 
  • Ability to identifying business and financial risks, plan audits and run engagements acting as a manager
  • Leadership skills and previous experience with developing the capability of individuals, and leading teams to deliver high quality client outcomes at more senior levels
  • A broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing and working in diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
