About the team
Deloitte's Digital Identity practice is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer with expertise in CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea. As a specialist in PAM, you will play a pivotal role in our Melbourne office, working closely with clients to design, implement, and manage robust PAM solutions.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering strategic PAM initiatives, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the successful implementation of PAM solutions using leading PAM technologies. You will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and technology vendors to design and deploy effective PAM frameworks that align with industry best practices and compliance standards.
More responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading PAM projects: Taking ownership of end-to-end PAM projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, integration, and ongoing support.
- Solution design and implementation: Designing and implementing PAM solutions using CyberArk, BeyondTrust, and Delinea, tailored to meet client needs and security requirements.
- Technical expertise: Providing expert guidance on PAM technologies, best practices, and emerging trends to both clients and internal teams.
- Client engagement: Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, and translating them into effective PAM strategies.
- Team collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and security analysts, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of PAM solutions.
- Continuous improvement: Staying abreast of industry advancements and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance PAM processes, tools, and methodologies.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong technology background: Extensive experience in technology roles, such as system administration, network engineering, or application development, with a solid understanding of security principles and practices.
- Privileged Access Management knowledge: Familiarity with Privileged Access Management concepts, privileged account lifecycle management, secure authentication mechanisms, session monitoring, and access control.
- PAM implementation experience: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing PAM solutions using CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea, including deployment, configuration, and customization.
- Relevant certifications: Certifications such as CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE), BeyondTrust Certified Professional (BCP), or similar qualifications would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership capabilities: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, provide mentorship, and drive successful project outcomes.
- Problem-solving mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose innovative solutions.
- Consultative approach: A consultative mindset, with the ability to understand client requirements, identify pain points, and recommend suitable PAM strategies.
