The Commercial Strategy team’s purpose is to support Deloitte’s capture of sustainable profitable growth through deal-making, Commercial Excellence, and commercial innovation that creates and captures value for our clients, our business, and our team.


What will your typical day look like?  

The Commercial Strategy Manager leads the development and articulation of complex commercial arrangements in support of high-performance business growth and big deal processes.

You will work as an expert Commercial Business Partner to review, advise on, and problem-solve the fiscal aspects of complex strategic growth initiatives in our fast-paced, high growth advisory and technology services businesses.

As a trusted advisor to our senior leaders, you will provide expert leadership and guidance on the financial quality of new business opportunities and formulate relevant options to improve the Value Creation potential of our new business opportunities.

As a team leader, you will contribute to Commercial Strategy team initiatives to lift the capabilities of our team and of our business leaders.

A strategic thinker with a relentless focus on the details, you will understand professional services business development, with expertise in:


  • Conducting sophisticated and creative analyses of complex commercial data and translation of results into actionable insights and advice
  • Formulating pricing strategies, competitive commercial constructs, and managing relevant commercial plans to Capture Value over the long term
  • Applying knowledge to solve problems and to develop actionable advice to support recommendations
  • Sharing commercial and technical knowhow with teammates and colleagues to improve outcomes
  • As a positive and motivational leader with a demonstrable track-record of leadership integrity you have worked in diverse settings, leveraging your strengths and sharing your knowledge to foster and celebrate teammate success.
