Deloitte’s Australian Forensic practice brings together a team of professionals from across the industry, combining forensic accounting and litigation support law enforcement, regulatory and  consulting services to advise and guide local, regional and global clients on business critical issues, including financial loss and financial crime.

What will your typical day look like? 
We are looking for a Manager based in Melbourne with commercial disputes and forensic accounting experience including in the areas of loss quantification, financial statement investigations and providing litigation support.  Experience in the areas of fraud, corruption and workplace misconduct investigations would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will become a senior member of Deloitte Forensic and the role will involve:
•    Delivering forensic accounting, investigation and litigation support services to public sector and corporate clients and their legal representatives, where appropriate
•    Executing on complex financial disputes and investigations in a team engaged to conduct investigations and reports of varying types, including expert witness (accounting) reports
•    Providing excellent project management skills, including coaching and leading others
•    Managing a portfolio of varied assignments, 
•    Working in high performing teams that draw on different skills where appropriate, including  forensic technology and data analytics.

A successful candidate will have:
•    CA/CPA qualification or equivalent international accreditation
•    Previous work experience involving forensic accounting, disputes and forensic investigations
•    Finance or business Tertiary qualification
•    Advanced proficiency with relevant software (including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
•    Advanced forensic report writing skills and a keen attention to detail
•    Highly developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
•    Strong investigative, analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
•    Demonstrated practical commercial business acumen
•    Proven and reliable project management and project delivery skills
•    A desire to make a contribution to business development
•    A strong sense of professional curiosity and purpose
•    A willingness to learn and be naturally enthusiastic and collaborative in teams
•    Remuneration and level will be commensurate with your experience.
