We're looking for an HR Consultant in our Technology & Transformation Talent PMO team to provide exceptional operational support and contribute to the delivery of tech-enabled Talent processes. This role plays an important part in driving consistency, optimisation and embedding Talent projects and processes that improve employee the experience across the employment life cycle. This is a 12-month opportunity, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

What will your typical day look like?

Our team are passionate about partnering with the business to deliver value and create the best place to work for our people. This role is a key enabler for the Technology and Transformation Talent team, supporting the delivery of operational activities, cyclical projects and strategic HR initiatives through data analysis and insights. You will also collaborate with the broader Talent Team in the Technology and Transformation Business unit, Talent SMEs and Green Dot teams to optimise Talent processes and cyclical activities by leveraging technology and AI to enhance efficiency and the employee experience.

Our BU Talent PMO team in T&T provides exceptional operational support while continuously improving and embedding Talent processes and projects throughout the employee lifecycle.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 

You are someone with: 

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience working as a consultant or talent professional in a professional services environment, with HR generalist experience gained in a matrix organisation or large-scale employer.
  • Experience in executing talent processes and working with HR systems and data across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and data analysis skills, with experience working with HR datasets to deliver reporting, trend analysis and actionable insights
  • A proactive and outcome focused mindset, with experience using structured problem solving, process mapping, user-centric design approaches and systems thinking to support project delivery, continuous improvement and process optimisation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, tailor insights and display reporting clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience preparing and maintaining project documentation, trackers and reporting to support HR related activities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Curiosity and willingness to use new technologies (including AI) to improve ways of working
