What will your typical day look like? 

You will work across client engagements that help automotive businesses understand performance, navigate disruption and identify practical opportunities for growth. You'll support analysis, reporting and strategic recommendations, while learning how advisory work gets delivered in a specialist industry team.

  • Engage with clients and internal team members to support the delivery of advisory work across the automotive sector
  • Analyse data and draft reports that help clients understand business performance, trends and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to recommendations and strategies that support growth, operational change and business decision-making

You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported through structured learning, feedback and collaboration. 

 

About the team

Motor Industry Services sits within Accounting and Reporting Advisory and partners with Australia's automotive sector, including dealers, manufacturers and key stakeholders helping them to navigate change, drive growth and manage disruption.

You'll be part of a specialist team working with well-known automotive businesses, supporting clients through financial benchmarking, performance analysis, strategy, operational transformation and leadership development. 

Our portfolio of clients includes some of the largest automotive business names in Australia and globally.

We're seeking final-year students or recent graduates to join our Graduate Program. You may have all or some of the following:

  • Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in business performance, strategic analysis and advisory work in the automotive sector
  • Confidence to ask questions and learn through feedback
  • Alignment with Deloitte's values and inclusive culture
  • You'll be studying towards or have completed a relevant degree, such as Accounting, Business, Finance or Analytics
