What will your typical day look like?  

   

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll combine technical expertise, problem-solving, and client collaboration to deliver high-quality AI & Data solutions.

 

Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Designing & Delivering AI & Data Solutions – Develop data models, analytics pipelines, AI/ML models, and cloud-based solutions that drive business value.  

  • Client Collaboration – Work closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into technical solutions.  

  • Technical Problem-Solving – Apply Python, SQL, cloudtechnologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) to solve real-world problems.  

  • Supporting Agile Project Delivery – Work in Agile teams to develop, test, and deploy data solutions efficiently.  

  • Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing – Support junior consultants in developing technical and consulting skills.  

  • Staying Ahead of Trends – Keep up with the latest AI, ML, and data engineering advancements and contribute to Deloitte’s innovation initiatives.

We collaborate with leading technology providers such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Snowflake, and Databricks, ensuring we stay at the forefront of emerging AI and data capabilities.

You are a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in a data-driven environment.

 

You bring:  

  • 4-6 years of experience either in Software Development, System Design, Data Engineering/Modelling or Data Migration, equipping you with the expertise to tackle complex engineering challenges  

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, enabling you to develop robust software solutions and perform data manipulation tasks effectively.  

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and IaC technologies, which is highly preferred for streamlining development processes.  

  • Experience with modern cloud services such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure, indicating familiarity with cloud-based data solutions, coupled with proficiency in Advanced SQL required for deploying scalable, data-driven applications.  

  • Experience with version control systems (Git / Azure DevOps) and orchestration scripting using tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift, enhancing your ability to manage containerised applications effectively.  

  • Experience in Data and Solution Architecture and proficiency with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, enabling efficient data architecture design. 

  • Hands-on experience in designing detailed test cases, and scripts for data engineering, participating in design reviews, conducting exploratory testing, configuring environments, automating tests will be strongly regarded.
