About the team:

 

The Deloitte Digital Customer Technology as a Service (CTaaS) team is responsible for the operation and enhancement of customer and marketing technology solutions that our clients use to power their growth. Our business is growing, and we are after a Functional Manager to join the team. 

 

Working with a team of Engineers, and working closely with Service Delivery Managers, this position is crucial to the successful delivery of operations and development services across our multiple Salesforce clients.  

 

What will your typical day look like?

 

 

As a Functional Manager you should have a strong background in Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, Health Clouds and PSS, along with expertise in business process mapping and stakeholder engagement. 

In addition, you will be responsible for:  

  •        Leading teams to ensure that services are provided to our clients within agreed service levels 
  •        Gathering and translating business requirements into Salesforce solutions. 
  •        Working directly with clients to discuss requirements, running workshops, detailing benefits, and costs for solution design (for example config vs code), and preparing estimates for development changes. 
  •        Leading teams in configuring, optimising, and maintaining Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, Health Clouds and PSS. 
  •        Re-engineering business processes to support B2C and B2B service processes. 
  •        Ensuring data security, compliance, and governance within Salesforce. 
  •        Providing expert guidance on Salesforce best practices, automation, and integrations. 
  •        Leading Agile teams for successful systems delivery.

 You have delivered solid solutions to complex problems and can provide consistent, high-quality solutions. To be awesome in this role you must have (mandatory experience): 

 

  • ·             6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Lead, ideally gained in a consulting / agency environment with tier one clients. 
  •       Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills  – you must be able to communicate confidently with clients and teams with experience in facilitating workshops for senior stakeholders. 
  •       Self-motivated, problem-crushing attitude 
  •       Expertise in Sales, Service and Experience Clouds. Salesforce OmniStudio is highly desirable. 
  •       Strong background in business process mapping and re-engineering 
  •       Proven track record of successful systems delivery in multi-disciplinary Agile environments 
  •       Prepared training materials and delivered training sessions 
  •       Creation and maintenance of Salesforce automations such Flow, Process Builder and Approval Processes 
  •       Security access controls such as Profiles, Permission Sets, Single Sign On, Connected Apps 
  •       Domain configuration, Email deliverability settings
