What will your typical day look like? 

As a ServiceNow HR Functional Consultant you will have the opportunity to join the worlds leading Human Capital consulting firm. You will be working closely with clients and our technical experts to transform the effectiveness of our client’s people services and employee experience using the ServiceNow platform.

This is a client facing role where you will be working as part of a team on the end-to-end solution, from gathering business requirements in workshops, to developing and documenting service models, templates and workflows, through configuration, implementation and training – no day will be the same.


About the team

The ServiceNow HRSD team are part of the broader Deloitte Human Capital Consulting practice. We are focussed on achieving successful ServiceNow HRSD implementations with our clients. We do this through a combination of employee experience, process design, and solution architecture, working closely with our colleagues in Human Capital who are experts in HR Operating models and HRIS systems such as Workday or Success Factors. We also work closely with our technical consulting teams who specialise in other products across the ServiceNow platform.


Enough about us, lets talk about you. 

You will have deep functional knowledge and experience of the ServiceNow platform, ideally within the HR Service Delivery product. You have the application knowledge and configuration skills, combined with a subject matter understanding. In addition, you will have the following: 


  • Assisting with presentations (both delivery workshops and pre-sales).
  • Gathering and documenting requirements during workshops with clients.
  • Working closely with clients to align their HR Services and Operating Model with configuration of the system.
  • Identifying any solutions which require customisation or development work.
  • Configuring the HRSD application to client’s requirements (HR Services, templates, portal forms, knowledge, etc.).
  • Delivering training for both HR Admins and HR Agents in the use of the platform.
  • Preparing artifacts, such as quick reference guides, config documentation, guided tours, etc.
  • Strong ability to provide well-conceived, clearly articulated, pragmatic solutions and recommendations to complex business problems.
  • Ability to communicate complex / technical issues to non-technical audiences.
