 Fixed Term Contract for the 2025 FBT compliance season

 

Unique opportunity for a Manager/Senior Manager to join Deloitte's Employment Taxes team on a 3-month Fixed Term Contract working on FBT compliance engagements. This contract role can be based anywhere in Australia, and we are open to full time or part time options.

What will your typical day look like?

This specialist opportunity is dedicated to delivering high quality, value adding FBT returns and supporting documents to a wide range of clients, including some of Australia’s most complex organisations and those with more straightforward FBT support needs. Tax technology and innovative digital approaches to problem solving are also important aspects to this role.

 

Our clients operate within many different sectors including global and Australian based listed entities, privately owned businesses, federal and state government, public sector and not for profit entities.

Managing teams in Australia and utilising offshore support, your role will be to liaise with clients on technical and policy matters, provide technical guidance to staff, review draft FBT returns and work closely with our Employment Taxes national management team and partners.


Let’s Talk About You.

You are someone with:

  • 5 years minimum of FBT compliance experience
  • Expertise in FBT technical and process matters
  • The ability to explain complex technical FBT matters to clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using the Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE FBT
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment managing and delivering complex client engagements across a diverse client portfolio
  • Proven team leadership experience
  • A team player who is results driven
