What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Director in our Workforce and Payroll Solutions team, you will be at the forefront of setting strategic direction, both for your teams and for the clients you serve. You will be responsible for steering large-scale engagements and influencing key decisions that drive business and industry transformation. Your leadership will guide the development of innovative solutions and ensure their successful execution, while your insight and credibility will position you as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders. Within the organisation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Deloitte’s growth by contributing to the development of new service offerings, strengthening market presence, and cultivating high-performing, inclusive teams. You will mentor emerging leaders, embed a culture of excellence, and foster collaboration that enables sustained value creation. Ultimately, your influence and strategic contributions will be evident in the long-term success of clients, the advancement of the firm’s objectives, and the professional growth of those around you.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You may have all or some of the following skills/experience:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience leading and delivering Human Capital projects, including system implementations, transformations, and complex programs—with a proven ability to define delivery approaches, add value beyond the brief, and consistently meet or exceed client expectations. 
  • You have a demonstrated record of leading innovation initiatives, expanding business opportunities, and fostering sustainable growth. 
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently, manage senior stakeholders, and drive outcomes with minimal oversight. 
  • Strong project financial management skills, including budget oversight, forecasting, and contingency planning. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to build rapport and influence confidently at all levels. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in dynamic or ambiguous environments. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, IT or a related field (preferred). 
  • A natural curiosity for technology and innovation, with a desire to explore new systems, tools, and ways of working. 
  • Actively contribute as a key member of the leadership team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture by supporting team development, providing mentorship, and creating opportunities for growth and progression across the wider team.
