About the role: 

We are seeking an experienced senior level professional with experience in the growth and management of a payroll managed service delivery. You’re the kind of person who gets that payroll isn’t just about process and numbers — it’s a core element of an organisation and understand the importance of having efficient and effective payroll delivery. You have a growth and development mindset and natural curiosity for how all the moving parts connect, and you know that great payroll outcomes don’t happen in isolation — they rely on strong systems, seamless integration, and collaboration across the broader HR and Finance ecosystem.

You love a challenge and have both a service oriented and improvement mindset and thrive in a dynamic environment of managing across multiple clients and solution.

You are a team player with a proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined integrated team to deliver to our clients high quality and consistent managed services.

  • Collaborative Consulting: Work alongside our team members to support our clients manage their payroll function and technology landscape. You’ll provide valuable leadership, insights and drive initiatives to design and implement smarter, more efficient systems, ways of working and client outcomes. 
  • Fresh Ideas & Problem-Solving: Bring your curiosity and creative thinking to the table. Whether it’s streamlining a process, exploring new tech, or solving tricky problems, we want you to think outside the box and lead in the implementation of initiatives to help us make things better. 
  • Project Management: Managing client projects from start to finish. You’ll be supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of projects—Leverage or expand your experience with timelines, budgets, and client communications. 
  • Continuous Learning & Growth: This is your chance to dive deep into and manage payroll services across various payroll solutions. You will leverage your previous experience to bring ideas and points of view to enhance and improve our payroll service delivery and inspire, lead and develop a team around you.

Are you ready to take your experience to the next level and join a passionate team that thrives on innovation? We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Director to join our Workforce & Payroll Solutions (WPS) team! If you’ve got a solid foundation in payroll, we want to see what you can do! 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Payroll managed services. Broader HRIS, or Workforce Management experience and knowledge is a bonus! Whether you’ve worked with payroll teams, payroll systems, or payroll program management, we want to hear how you can contribute. 
  • Team Leadership: You’ve successfully managed and lead teams before and have coached and developed others in this space.
  • Service Delivery: You’ve been accountable for the delivery and management of organisationas payroll services. You’re eager for leverage this knowledge and experience to expand and enhance our existing payroll services capability and have a service-oriented mindset.
  • Natural Curiosity: You’re constantly learning, exploring new ideas, and asking questions. Whether it’s understanding how tech can improve processes or figuring out how to streamline a workflow, your curiosity will help drive your success. 
  • Positive and Collaborative: You bring a “can-do” attitude to the team. You’re excited to collaborate with others, share ideas, and contribute to a positive, inclusive work culture. 
  • Relationship Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams with a high service and service delivery orientation.
