What will your typical day look like?
As a Digital Quality Lead, you will be pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure complex systems that interact with customers via web and mobile UIs. This role demands a blend of leadership and hands-on technical expertise, focusing on the end-to-end testing lifecycle across various digital platforms. You will manage and lead the entire testing function for these projects, ensuring exceptional customer experience and system integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans and schedules for complex web and mobile projects, defining scope and approach for all testing phases.
- Maintain testing governance, standards and reporting across the model, and provide expert advice and governance for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Drive an automation-first approach across functional and non-functional testing, defining and implementing robust test automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms.
- Lead the execution and management of system, integration and regression testing, ensuring seamless functionality across interacting components and third-party systems.
- Mentor, manage and grow a largely offshore team of test analysts and engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous improvement while maintaining alignment and quality across locations.
- Provide hands-on experience and oversight for testing across multiple digital platforms including web, mobile, APIs and back-end platforms (for example CMS, CRM or contact centre platforms)
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
- Proven test leadership with extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in Test Management or Senior QA roles leading testing for large-scale, complex digital projects involving web and mobile customer interfaces.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps) and quality assurance best practices
- Hands-on experience testing across multiple digital platforms, including Web and mobile channels, APIs and back-end platforms such as Content Management Systems, CRMs or Contact Centre platforms
- Demonstrable experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and a proven ability to define and implement automation strategies.
- Familiarity with the principles and practices of security testing (e.g., OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities) and performance testing, with experience coordinating these activities.
- Prior experience testing complex system integrations, APIs, and data flows between various internal and external systems.
- Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
