We’re looking for thoughtful, motivated individuals to join our national Education and Economic Participation team. This is a great opportunity to work on meaningful program evaluations and research that inform education policy and improve outcomes for students, families and educators.

 

What will your typical day look like?

As an Analyst or Senior Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality evaluation and research projects in school education.
•    Contribute to project design, data collection and analysis, and reporting
•    Use a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods
•    Draft clear, evidence-based insights for clients and policymakers
•    Analysts focus on delivery and learning; Senior Analysts lead workstreams and mentor others
•    Opportunities to work across 2–3 projects at a time, depending on your availability
•    Supportive career development with on-the-job learning and coaching

 

About the team 

Deloitte Access Economics’ Education and Economic Participation (EEP) team is a specialist national practice of 30+ economists, policy specialists and evaluators.
•    Offices across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth and Adelaide
•    Projects span early childhood, schooling, post-school education and employment
•    Clients include federal and state governments, school systems, and NGOs
•    Recent work includes school improvement reviews, disability inclusion evaluations, and policy research for AERO and the Australian Government

We’re looking for candidates with:
•    1–5+ years’ experience in research, evaluation or policy (government, consulting, non-profit, academia)
•    Strong written communication, critical thinking, and organisation skills
•    Interest in education systems and using evidence to improve policy and practice
•    A collaborative mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks
