In response to the growing demand for our team’s Risk Analytics services, we are looking to hire data scientists to join our national team, delivering market leading advice and practical data solutions that make a material impact to our clients, our people and society.  We are looking for Data Scientists and Managers with 4-8 years’ experience either in industry or with professional services firms, both globally and here in Australia.

Some of the work we do includes:
•    Design, build, assess and document bespoke data solutions and models to solve complex regulatory, conduct and compliance problems using advanced analytical tools and techniques  
•    Transform the ways clients leverage people, technology, data, business processes and controls, to better manage risks and optimise processes
•    Support the delivery of a portfolio of projects across a range of industries focusing on providing our clients with evidence-based actionable insights to reduce risk and improve compliance 
•    Working both autonomously, and closely with colleagues, Directors and Partners to bring the best of our global network and thought leadership to clients, manage large change and business remediation programs, and respond to the requirements of key regulatory bodies
•    Taking ownership for the delivery of data analysis activities within a stream of work, across programs/projects to deliver project goals
•    Devise and deploy effective communication strategies and supporting materials

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with:
•    Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science related degree OR prior experience in conduct analytics within remediation or regulatory and compliance analytics at financial institutions, and/or previous consulting experience 
•    Proficient in data mining algorithms, statistical and machine learning methodologies, best practice data transformation and validation techniques
•    Advanced programming skills in languages and tools such as SAS, R, Python, SQL and SSIS
•    Data visualization skills, including design, build and communication of data insights using reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau and QlikView
•    Ability to thrive working in a team environment and serving clients with distinction 
•    Highly developed business communication skills
•    Strong attention to detail with a curiosity to understand data
•    Ideally, a keen interest in third party datasets, emerging analytics tools and technologies within the risk and regulatory compliance 
•    Experience in developing/validating/monitoring Credit Risk Models (PD/LGD/EAD), and / or IFRS9 models, and an understanding of Capital Adequacy (APS112/APS113) and prudential standards, guidelines, and reporting requirements will be valued, but not mandatory
