What will your typical day look like?  
As a Consultant / Senior Consultant in our Healthcare Advisory team, you will work with our bright and enthusiastic team to analyse clients’ needs and requirements to transform their operational performance.  The types of projects you will work on include: strategy development; program and policy design and evaluation; feasibility assessments; cost model reviews and business model development; financial turnaround; and tender evaluation/ procurement.

Day to day this will involve you:

  • guiding and undertaking quantitative data analysis and visualisation (e.g. survey analysis, cost benefit/cost effectiveness analysis, financial model development etc)
  • guiding and undertaking qualitative data methods and analysis (e.g. literature reviews, stakeholder interviews, focus groups and workshops)
  • developing redesign strategies; working with organisations to evaluate and enhance organisation/program capability; designing improvements that enhance client / patient experience and improving efficiency / productivity to reduce costs of service.
  • drafting and communicating findings in reports and compelling presentations

Your clients will include government departments; non-profit organisations and funders and providers of services. Clients will be based across Australia and globally in some cases.


You will be adaptable and flexible in working across a variety of settings and clients.


About the team
Our high-performing and collaborative team offers specialist advice to the health and human services sector to enable and optimise our clients’ strategies, ensuring that they are aligned with the organisation’s long-term goals. We have a passion for translating data and evidence into meaningful insights and primarily seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organisations / programs at all stages of their growth from designing the change required, to delivering and managing that change and providing assurance around change initiatives. You will be an integral part of a leading healthcare consultancy practice in Australia, and generate real insights to help deliver value to our clients.

You will be a motivated and engaged individual with a passion to make an impact in health and/or social policy. Specifically, you will have:

  • at least 2 - 5 years of professional experience preferably in a consulting environment.
  • strategic problem solving, creative analysis, critical thinking and storytelling/communication skills, and be able to work well with senior stakeholders and internal teams.
  • the skills and experience to critically appraise, generate, analyse, collate and distil disparate data and evidence (both quantitative, including financial and numerical, and qualitative) into concise and compelling messages that influence change.
  • experience using one or more of the following tools: Microsoft Excel, Stata, PowerBi or similar to build business models and/or analyse data.
  • a relevant degree in one of the following areas: finance; health; public policy; public health (or similar); statistics; science; or research and evaluation.
