We’re looking for a confident, curious, and can-do Consultant to join our Resource Management team. You don’t need to have all the skills yet, we’ll support you to build them. What we’re looking for is someone ready to jump in, get involved, and grow quickly in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

What will your typical day look like?

This internal role is all about enabling the business to thrive through great people planning. You’ll support scheduling decisions, help shape career pathways, and provide insights that link people to performance.

You’ll play a key role in helping the business make smarter decisions about its people, align capability with demand, and drive profitability demonstrating how Resource Management delivers commercial outcomes.

We’ll help you develop a strong foundation in resource management, from planning and scheduling to commercial thinking, stakeholder engagement, and data interpretation. You’ll gain deep insight into how people, projects, and profit intersect and build a skill set that sets you up for a rewarding internal career.

About the team

Each member of our Resource Management team is a trusted adviser to the business helping ensure the right people are on the right jobs at the right time. We deploy practitioners to engagements, influence capability development, and provide insights that support workforce strategy and commercial performance.

We’re a collaborative, inclusive, and energetic team that knows the Audit & Assurance business inside out and we play a critical role in how the business runs and grows.

The Audit & Assurance business in Australia serves many of the largest publicly listed companies, private businesses, and all levels of government. We are committed to excellence, integrity, and delivering real value to the business.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • A natural ability to build relationships and influence
  • Experience working with data, preparing, interpreting and drawing insights
  • Solid MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • A sharp eye for detail, strong organisation skills, and a proactive mindset
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work at pace
  • Experience in resource management or workforce planning (not essential, but a plus especially within professional services)
