What will your typical day look like?  


This role will see you engage directly with high profile health and public sector clients on their most important and challenging issues – analysing and solving their priority operational problems. In addition, you will also:

  • Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients deliver value and optimise performance across the health and public sectors
  • Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design Thinking, Digital, Data, AI, Analytics, Human Capital, Deloitte Access Economics, and experience from our global consulting network
  • Undertake strategy and operations transformation projects, with the opportunity to experience borderless careers through national and international projects and secondments 
  • Leverage your interest in Health and / or Public Sector to help our clients improve the way they operate and govern, manage risks, manage costs or change the way function and do business

About the team 


Our Health Operations Transformation and Public Sector Operations Transformation teams are growing rapidly in response to market demands for critical thinkers who can solve complex business problems. We specialise in turning strategies into measurable and sustained results. We help our clients solve their largest most complex challenges that range from responding to new regulatory requirements through to implementing new technology advances such as robotics and cognitive automation.


We bring our clients on the journey, helping them accelerate and unlock strategic and commercial value as their partners in innovation-led transformation. We can see where they need to go, and work with them to design and implement the path forward, powered by the best emerging and proven technology and analytical insights, to help them get there.

In response to strong client demand for our services, we are currently seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in operations advisory, transformation or similar, to work with Health and / or Public sector clients.


You are someone with:


  • A strong interest in supporting Health and / or Public Sector clients
  • Consulting or problem-solving experience within a commercial, start-up, not-for-profit, disruptor or gig organisation
  • Experience in the use of structured problem-solving approaches / frameworks
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients
  • Strong facilitation skills that are adaptable to different situations and communications styles
  • Experience conducting analysis (desktop research, data analysis, reviewing documents, interviewing etc.) and synthesising into digestible outputs (e.g. reports)
  • Curiosity to learn and proactivity to bring forward ideas
