The Deloitte Data & AI Operate team’s aspiration is to enable our clients and project teams to Operate in the moment – by combining talent, process, automation, and agility – to ensure all parts of the data and intelligent automation ecosystem are running and delivering operational outcomes as designed.
Our team is responsible for the ongoing support and enhancement of Data & AI technology solutions that our clients use to drive decision-making and insights across their organisations. We work alongside our advisory and implementation teams to deliver world-class solutions and capabilities - from initial solution design through to operations support and continuous improvement. This end-to-end involvement allows us to shape the solutions we operate. Our high-performing team is comprised of highly experienced technical specialists, front-end and back-end developers, DevOps engineers, and delivery managers.
Our relationships with market-leading vendors such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Snowflake, and Informatica enable our practitioners to be at the forefront of new and emerging technologies and to deliver our suite of services at scale.
About the Role
This position will provide ongoing operational and enhancements support to our client’s existing data products platforms.
As part of this team, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the smooth operations of our clients’ Data platforms and solutions.
- Working directly with internal teams and clients to discuss requirements, taking ownership of medium to high complexity technical tasks.
- Adhere to agreed Service level agreements.
- Proactively identifying technical improvements and leading their implementations.
- Recommending and executing process improvements.
- Ensuring the stability, availability, performance of client environments across a range of Data technologies
About your experience
We are looking for someone that enjoys working across a range of technology platforms and data disciplines.
To be successful you must have a proven track record of deploying and supporting data technologies such as SQL, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Data Factories, and Databricks across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Skills required to be successful in this role:
- Strong experience and expertise with Azure data technologies (Data Lakes, Data Factory, blob storage, and Databricks) and/or AWS data technologies (RDS, Redshift, EMR, Data Pipeline, AWS Glue)
- Strong experience and expertise with SQL and No-SQL technologies
- Strong experience with ELT, ETL and data pipelines ingestion technologies processes
- Prior experience working in CosmoDB and Synapse highly regarded
- Experience with Google Cloud or Snowflake will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Expertise in reporting and visualisation technologies, including PowerBI, SSRS, Qlik and Tableau highly regarded
- Expertise with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development) technologies and delivery practices.
- Ability to write robust Python code
- Experience working in an Agile and DevOps approaches

The minimum salary requirement for this role is between $70,000 - $97,000
