What will your typical day look like?
Deloitte Real Estate Valuations is continuing to grow, creating an opportunity for a commercially astute and experienced valuer to step into a senior leadership role. As an Associate Director, you will lead and deliver valuation assignments across all major property sectors and geographic markets throughout Australia, advising clients on acquisitions and disposals, financial reporting, accounting, audit and taxation matters, compensation, disputes and litigation.
You will play a visible role in client delivery, team leadership and business development, with scope to contribute across the full valuation lifecycle including client engagement, scoping, market research, property inspections, report sign-off support, proposal activity and thought leadership.
You can expect to:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Deloitte network to deliver integrated advice to clients
- Lead detailed market research and valuation analysis across office, industrial, retail, residential and specialised property assets
- Undertake property inspections and translate findings into clear, defensible valuation advice
- Prepare high-quality valuation reports and deliver clear, commercially focused insights to clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to business development through proposals, client relationship building and market-facing initiatives
- Manage day-to-day delivery across a portfolio of valuation engagements, ensuring quality, responsiveness and commercial rigour
You will work on a diverse pipeline of valuation assignments across Australia, gaining exposure to complex assets, high-profile clients and a broad range of market issues.
Our clients include domestic and international property groups, corporates, government bodies at local, state and Commonwealth level, high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profit organisations.

You may have all or some of the following skills and experience:
- 5 to 10 years’ relevant property valuation experience in the Australian market
- Demonstrated experience across multiple property sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail and residential development
- Professional membership of the Australian Property Institute with Certified Practising Valuer or Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors with Registered Valuer
- Registration or licensing as a valuer in Queensland or Western Australia
- An API or RICS accredited degree such as valuations, property economics or business (with a major in real estate, property, investment or similar)
- Strong analytical capability and sound commercial judgement
- Proven ability to prepare clear, professional and defensible valuation reports
- Strong market research, analytical and presentation skills
- A strong understanding of property market fundamentals and market dynamics
