About the Team
Deloitte’s Financial Services Regulatory Audit team sits within our Audit & Assurance practice — a national group providing assurance and advisory services across the Wealth Management, Superannuation, Insurance, and Banking sectors.
We work with some of the largest and most complex financial institutions in Australia, helping them navigate a highly regulated environment with confidence. From leading regulatory engagements to developing innovative client solutions, no two days are the same. You’ll collaborate closely with specialists across the business, gain broad exposure, and continuously develop your technical and professional skills.
What will your typical day look like?
You’ll play a key role in delivering regulatory and audit services to clients across the financial services industry. This includes:
- Supporting audits and assurance engagements focused on APRA- and ASIC-regulated entities.
- Assisting clients in meeting their APRA reporting and compliance obligations.
- Analysing complex regulatory issues and helping design practical, sustainable solutions.
- Building trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and strong attention to quality.

You may have some or all of the following skills and experience:
- Audit experience in an external or internal audit environment.
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An insurance background or experience with APRA-regulated entities.
- Knowledge of APRA reporting, APRA compliance, or ASIC compliance requirements.
- A high level of attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes.
