What will your typical day look like?

Your day-to-day will be diverse but richly rewarding. The Transition Capability Lead will directly lead some engagements and oversee others, while building organisational capability to manage Transition programs . This is a client facing role working across the business. Key activities will include the following:

  • Directly lead Transition on large outsourcing engagements, working across multiple Deloitte member firms and geographies.
  • Help develop Transition solution (plan, timelines, approach, resourcing and costs) during the sales process, collaborating with client to understand the lay of the land and help get buy in into the proposed plan.
  • Support RFP responses and participate in Orals with clients as the Transition SME.
  • Assess and optimise costs related to BPO Transition solutions, ensuring cost effectiveness for both the client and Deloitte.
  • Hire, train, and develop resources to take on transition roles
  • Help develop Transition specific methods and assets to enhance Deloitte capabilities in this area.
  • Oversee, in a quality assurance role, transition programs being managed by other people
  • Manage interventions to solve for problems, manage risks and improve the quality of active Transition programs.

The COE aim is to deliver top-tier Operate capability support, catering not only to Australia but also to other markets across the region. The Transition Capability lead will be a part of this team and support Deloitte member firms with sales and delivery of Operate engagements in the region.

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 

You are an Business Process outsourcing Delivery SME with strong experience of Transition. 

 

You are someone with: 

  • Deep understanding of how large scale Business Process outsourcing engagements work across their life cycle, including how they are solutioned, sold, setup and delivered, with a particular focus on Transition.
  • Significant experience in managing large scale Transition programs in the context of Operate engagements, preferably with coverage across multiple geographies. Specific experience in Accounting/Finance and Finance Transformation would be an added advantage.
  • Strong program management skills
  • Capability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple business areas, functions, and geographies.
  • Ability to build Transition capability within the organisation by developing teams, assets and training
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to stakeholders. 
  • Motivated, energetic, and self‐directed. 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to travel within Asia Pacific region, and adaptability to work across different cultures, time zones, and work practices, adjusting communication and approach accordingly.
