What will your typical day look like?  
Working within the Client, Industries & Markets program office team, the primary focus of the Reporting & Data Graduate role will be to enhance existing business data & analytics, with a day to day responsibility of managing complex data sets and creating business wide reporting through the creation of dashboards in Tableau - our Data Visualisation and Reporting Automation Platform. 
Activities will include:

  • Identifying, understanding and seeking opportunities to develop and deliver proactive analytics & reports that inform decision making
  • Demonstrating the ability to merge multiple complex data sets to create insights
  • Investigating and interrogating existing business data to find correlations, merge insights and building datasets for reporting
  • Creating dashboard reporting for senior firm executive leaders, preparing insightful and visual financial and operational reports across the business to assist decision making 
  • Creating complex models for deep investigation into untapped opportunities within the business, informing areas for greater focus and growth and resulting in improvement of the client management strategy
  • Preparing presentations for firm executive meetings 
  • Supporting the client account and financial annual planning process
  • Liaising across Marketing, Communications and Business Development teams and other key stakeholders across the firm

 
About the team 
Welcome to the Client, Industries & Markets program office, part of the Marketing, Communications and Business Development team.  We ensure that we are bringing a unified and client centric view to approach to our programs and reporting to support our senior leaders in making decisions across the firm. We sit right at the epicentre in the CI&M program office, enabling the CI&M community in offering programmatic support and delivering insightful performance reporting across all strategic priorities.
 
Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 
You are someone who is:  

  • Studying a degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Analytics, Maths or Statistics 
  • Interested in business reporting delivery and/or business analysis
  • Detail-oriented, well organised and understand the importance of data integrity
  • Able to build professional relationships and rapport across many stakeholder groups.
  • An excellent communicator with an ability to communicate with at all levels
  • Aware of data visualisation and reporting automation tools such as Excel, Tableau, Cognos, Domo, or Power BI would be useful
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
