Vacationer Program | Tax & Legal Consulting
Hobart, TAS, AU
Job Requisition ID: 40368
- Work on real client challenges alongside tax, legal and advisory specialists.
- Four weeks of live client work, structured learning and a team that wants to see you grow.
- High performers may be considered for an early graduate offer before their final year.
Our Vacationer Program gives you the opportunity to work alongside specialists across tax, law and advisory, gaining hands-on experience with real clients and real projects while exploring where your interests could take you.
Whether you're passionate about advising corporate and privately owned businesses or supporting family groups and entrepreneurs, you'll gain practical experience, contribute to the success of local businesses and communities, develop strong technical foundations, and build connections with people who are invested in your development.
What will your typical day look like?
Over the course of your internship, you'll work alongside specialists across tax, law and advisory, gaining exposure to a range of client challenges and learning how technical expertise is applied in a commercial environment.
As a Vacationer in the Tax & Legal team, you'll:
- Research and analyse tax issues affecting corporate, privately owned and family businesses.
- Support the preparation of client advice, tax calculations, compliance work and other client deliverables.
- Collaborate with experienced practitioners on client projects, developing practical technical skills while building an understanding of Australian tax legislation and its commercial application.
You won't be expected to know everything from day one. You'll be supported through structured onboarding, feedback and collaboration.
As well as learning in the flow of work, you’ll take part in a paid summer internship offering real client exposure, project work, and structured onboarding. You'll have a dedicated buddy, access to networking and social events, and the opportunity to be considered for an early graduate offer.
