What will your typical day look like?

The Darwin Audit & Assurance (A&A) client service team services some of Deloitte’s largest clients nationally across a variety of industries.

 

This is an exciting career opportunity for a career focussed Senior Manager to join our Darwin external audit service offering and gain exposure to a range of high profile and complex accounting issues and transactions. You will work across service lines whilst further developing your technical skills and internal and external audit networks.

 

You can work on a diverse range of clients, from listed corporations, government departments, energy, and utilities sector and not-for-profit. You have the flexibility to broaden your horizon to work on client interstate across Australia and maximise your career development. This role will also provide growth opportunities to expand our assurance and advisory offerings in the NT market and collaborating with our Deloitte colleagues nationally to offer our leading products locally in the NT.

 

This role will enable you to make an impact in your career development by building and growing the team and expanding our suite of services to our clients in the NT and opportunities for long-term career growth.

 

You will collaborate and apply original thought and as a result, play an integral role in designing and developing solutions for our clients. Your natural thirst for knowledge and continuous learning along with your strong communication and relationship building skills position you as a trusted advisor with your clients. You are known for your strong project management skills and ability to execute under pressure.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
 

You are someone with:

  • CA qualifications (or similar) with professional services experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Audit and Accounting (servicing both public and private clients)
  • Audit experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm (preferable)
  • Experience and exposure in a variety of industries – our clients come from diverse backgrounds
  • Motivated by achievement and concentrating on getting the most from professionals across a diverse range of projects
  • Experience with finance systems, and leading a team
  • Leadership skills and previous experience developing the capability of individuals
  • Strong experience in delivering finance-related projects
  • Ability to identify scope and solve problems
