Join our Software Engineering team in Canberra as a Manager or Senior Manager and help clients turn complex business needs into scalable, well-engineered solutions.
What will your typical day look like?
From solution design through to delivery oversight, you'll guide engineering teams to produce high-quality outputs across full-stack builds, modernization work, and enterprise platforms. Your technical depth will matter here, reviewing code, shaping architecture, and helping teams make informed decisions across modern engineering stacks.
You will lead technical delivery teams to design and implement scalable microservices architectures, ensuring long-term maintainability and architectural integrity. Owning the full software development lifecycle, you will guide teams from initial discovery and design through to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
A key part of this role is lifting how software gets built. This includes applying AI tools in a hands-on way, identifying opportunities to enhance delivery, and embedding them into the software development lifecycle in practical, responsible ways that improve team efficiency, quality, and consistency.
Working closely with clients, delivery teams and senior stakeholders, you will translate complex business problems into clear engineering pathways and lead small teams to execute with confidence, balancing technical depth, team leadership and trusted client engagement.
