What will your typical day look like?  
As a Manager/Senior Manager in the Innovation & Industrial Redesign team, you will provide exceptional client service and apply your experience to:

  • Lead and help develop a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of business, sustainability, and climate goals for our clients
  • Lead and manage some of the most visible and important nation-building programs across both public and private sector organisations
  • Lead and support business development opportunities, including preparing client proposals and scoping up client engagements 
  • Coach and manage a team, including shaping opportunities for your team’s professional development
  • Undertake extensive strategy, operations and transformation focused training and development (both structured and on the job) with the opportunity to experience borderless careers through international assignments and secondments
  • Contribute significantly to thought leadership, talent development, people leadership and running of Deloitte’s business in Canberra 

 

About the team 

Deloitte Consulting’s Innovation & Industrial Redesign (I2R) team is newly established with a clear remit to bring the best of consulting to assist businesses, governments and communities to understand and deliver on the change needed in their organisations to address the most pressing issues in Australia today. The team focuses on bringing together climate and social advisory capabilities with strategy, digital and engineering specialists to ensure our client’s choices, investments, physical assets and technology landscapes are moving towards the realities of today’s transformations. It is an exciting, growing and highly visible area within Deloitte that has the most innovative, bright, and disruptive minds.

In response to strong client demand for our services, we have multiple roles for outstanding Manager and Senior Manager level practitioners.

You are a highly motivated individual with: 

  • Extensive experience in a client facing/advisory role, either in-house or in a Consulting environment
  • Experience in leading complex transformation consulting projects, including managing senior relationships with public and private sector organisations
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams with a passion to develop others as well as self
  • Experience or transferable capabilities in emissions reduction, nation building, and industrial redesign engagements and topics
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling arguments at executive and working level
  • Advanced problem solving and project delivery skills
  • Proven ability to develop strong, long-lasting and fruitful business relationships
  • Ability to manage and deliver on multiple streams of work
  • Strong and adaptable facilitation and project management skills
  • Advanced problem solving, business analysis and project delivery skills
  • Have or be eligible for AGSVA baseline clearance
