Are you a passionate data, analytics and ICT professional? We’re looking for Senior Analysts in our Canberra based Risk Advisory Data and Analytics Team.
 
What will your typical day look like? 
•    Be part of a project team that manages data, analytics, technology automation projects across a wide range of clients and industries.
•    Be part of a team that designs strategies and solutions in response to issues.
•    Liaise with key stakeholders and clients to scope/explore complex issues affecting clients.
•    Be part of a team that designs solutions in response to issues.
•    Work with management and clients to identify and evaluate organisational risks and help recommend optimal process and system changes to better manage for the future.
•    Communicate and liaise well with other members of the team.
•    Align with our core values and people programs.
•    Proficient in a technical language such as SQL, SAS, Power BI, Python or R and willing to learn another one, or deepen your abilities in your core language ‘on the job’ learning with coaches.

Enough about us, let's talk about you.

You are someone with:
•    Australian citizenship with an active government security clearance.
•    Relevant Bachelor degree or other technology qualifications in IT, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce or equivalent field(s).
•    Experience in, or willingness to learn data visualisation software (e.g. Qlikview, Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI).
•    Experience in, or interest in gaining experience in supply chain risk and resiliency, compliance and integrity insights, and effective and defensible decision support.
•    Experience in data extraction and analysis.
•    An awareness of applying rules-based analytics
•    Experience in working with Government or Banking.
•    Good communication skills, the ability to explain and document analysis processes and results.
•    Interest in automation and life-long learning
