About the Team
Deloitte’s Project Risk team is looking for strategically minded Senior Analysts to join our global network of Project Risk professionals. We are engaged by leading Australian organisations, the Australian Government and the Department of Defence to help them reduce risk and improve outcomes from their most complex and challenging projects.
Our clients need an independent perspective to uncover hidden risks and mitigate against project failure. That’s why they come to us. Our Project Risk team is equipped with deep knowledge, methods and tools to provide our clients full assurance and confidence in the successful execution of their projects.

As a Senior Analyst, you will work as part of a high performing team to both advise on and/ or deliver client projects. Our advisory work is often in the risk and assurance space, so you will typically spend your day working closely alongside client leaders and managers, helping to identify risks, challenges and potential improvements to their programs.
You are someone with:
- A strong understanding of enterprise and organisational risk
- Experience designing and implementing policy programs
- An understanding of the legislative environment within the public sector, including Federal Government and Defence
- An understanding of the project management lifecycle, particularly within government and defence
- Strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to tailor your communication style to suit your audience
- Relevant tertiary and project management qualifications (e.g. Agile, MSP, PMBOK, Gateway, Prince 2)
- A curious mind, an ambitious perspective and a positive attitude.
