Joining our Digital & Technology risk team, you will help our clients confidently transform the ways services are designed and delivered to communities, accelerate digital transformation, adopt emerging technologies, and reimagine business models. 
We work with a range of clients to help them achieve outcomes from their most complex transformation projects by designing and implementing tailored project and risk management approaches. You will assist clients to design and manage critical programs of work, navigating digital transformation and providing strategic advice.
You will be part of a passionate and supportive team with diverse professional and personal backgrounds. You will have opportunities to work across a variety of industries and geographies as well as the ability to collaborate with and learn from different teams across Deloitte. 


What will your typical day look like?
The Digital & Technology Risk team provides a range of services relating to digital transformation, risk management, project delivery, regulation, and governance. This includes:

  • Advising on the risks facing digital transformations and ensuring that these are appropriately addressed at the right stage of implementations.
  • Defining and embedding risk management strategies for digital technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, and cloud.
  • Designing end-to-end risk management processes. 
  • Assisting clients to meet their governance, risk, and compliance obligations 
  • Designing and implementing regulatory frameworks
  • Providing program management, risk management and assurance services for ICT projects and programs.
  • Developing ICT business cases that provide our clients with confidence in their ability to obtain investment approval to commence their major projects.
  • Driving technology-enabled change across the organisation and deliver high quality outcomes efficiently and effectively.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.  
We want team members with an understanding of business environments, IT environments and a willingness to learn how complex IT environments impact business operations. You may also be: 

  • Studying towards a degree in Commerce, Business, IT, InfoSys, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, or a combination of these degrees. You don’t necessarily need to have a technology background, we are also looking for individuals who can articulate the business and policy perspectives of technology transformation 
  • Comfortable working with data
  • An excellent problem solver, communicator and relationship builder, commercial, articulate and able to make the complex simple  
  • Keen to get involved with driving technology-enabled change and delivering high quality outcomes for Federal Government departments and services to Australian citizens
  • An Australian Citizen (please note: Australian Residents/New Zealand Citizens or those on a visa cannot be considered for roles in Canberra).
