About our Practice:

Our Engineering as a Service (EaaS) Practice consists of a diverse mix of skilled and experienced managed services personnel providing differentiated DevOps and Cloud support services for leading edge technology transformation projects in steady state.

 

The Deloitte EaaS team is responsible for providing our clients with the highest level of customer support services by using modern service management frameworks and leading operational tooling.

 

Our business is growing and we’re on the look-out for a Network Engineer to join the team. The role includes a focus on Network monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and managing work loads of cross functional teams.


As a Network Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Provide technical support via the Deloitte Service Desk Portal, email, and phone
  • Work on maintenance, administration, testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics
  • Support Data Centre operations, audits, and project activities
  • Assist in design, implementation, and documentation of network solutions
  • Participate in on-call duties and escalate critical issues when necessary

 

Skills/ Qualifications

  • Fortinet NSE5 certification (or ability to obtain it)
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support environment
  • Familiarity with networking technologies (Fortinet NSE6, Juniper, Aruba, IP Telephony)
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and security appliances
  • Understanding of Windows, Linux, and monitoring systems

Additional Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship (NV1 security clearance required)
  • Experience with government or commercial sector compliance/security standards

 

Work Entitlement

Due to the nature of the clients this role will be working with, you must be an Australian Citizen and must have a Negative on the Australian Government Security Vetting.
