Our Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) team, is at the forefront of technology and innovation to help our clients imagine their business, solve the most complex business and technology problems and help them accelerate their transformational journey.  

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Master Scheduler to join our dynamic Public Sector team. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your consulting and project management expertise to develop, maintain, and analyse intricate scheduling solutions for our clients.

You may have all or some of the following skills: 

  • Experience as a Master Scheduler or similar role, with a strong background in consulting and project management.  

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget, in a client-facing environment.  

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) and their application within consulting engagements.  

  • Expertise in project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).  

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying and mitigating project risks.  

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.   

 

What will your typical day look like?  

  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated master schedules, identifying all milestones and dates to track project work, time, phase and resource utilisation requirements for end-to-end projects and programs.  

  • Provide strategic advice and maintain reporting cadences to key stakeholders relating to schedule change impact analysis and program and project management activities, identifying risks and opportunities, portfolio performance and providing insight to support effective decision-making and project delivery. 

  • Provide integrated resource modelling and forecasting across a portfolio of projects to integrate schedule and cost data to perform critical path method and earned value analysis that supports project plans, audit reports and submissions for investment strategies. 

  • Undertake critical path analysis, monitor milestones and identifying dependencies through highlighting risks and issues, and recommend mitigation strategies against project deliverables.  

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage multiple project stakeholder expectations and ensure governance for reporting is maintained and program deliverables meet the requirements.  

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of scheduling and reporting processes and procedures, program, and project planning, ensuring compliance with current standards and frameworks. 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology or related field preferred 

  • At least 5 years of Project/Program Management or PMO experience with a focus on project scheduling 

  • Proven experience with project management methodologies, processes, and tools 

  • PMP or Prince2 certification preferred
