In a world where data risk and regulatory compliance are constantly evolving, our team provides critical solutions to complex challenges. From your first day as a Deloitte Graduate, you'll be working on real problems for real clients, backed by people who are genuinely invested in your growth.
What will your typical day look like?
Experience the dynamic environment of the R&R Data team, where you tackle unique challenges daily, guiding clients through complex business issues with data-driven solutions and crafting multi-layered data strategies. Through exposure to a variety of real client projects ranging from industrial relations compliance, data risk and governance to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), you develop a skillset that pairs your technical aptitude with your analytical insight.
On a typical project, you collaborate closely with a team of experts to source and prepare data for in-depth analysis. You further delve into the data to uncover meaningful insights and present them to the client. You utilise software like MS Excel, SQL, and Tableau/Power BI, alongside advanced modelling tools such as Python and R. At Deloitte, you have all the support you need from your colleagues and broader team including access to a global network of risk and compliance management professionals.
Your days will involve:

Design and build robust analytical models and solutions to deliver actionable insight for business users.

Focus on the biggest and most complex risks to our clients, working in a team with skills in data extraction – transformation – loading (ETL), analytics methods, tools, and visual communications.

Communicate technical findings, models, and insights to different technical and non-technical audiences within the firm and to our clients.
As well as learning in the flow of work, you'll also be part of our firm-wide Graduate Program. You'll have a permanent, full-time role from day one, with structured learning, real-world client work, and hands-on projects to build your career. You'll be supported by a dedicated buddy and coach, with flexible work options and wellbeing support as you grow.
About the team
Our Risk & Regulatory team advises clients on complex risk and compliance management initiatives, helping them achieve their objectives and meet regulatory requirements. The R&R Data team specifically supports clients from developing their data strategy and governance framework through to implementing operational analytics solutions. We combine practitioners with advanced analytic skills to help clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes, identify innovative opportunities, and achieve great outcomes. Our current focus includes regulatory compliance, reducing operational risk, data lifecycle management, and controls transformation across a wide range of industries.
We're seeking final-year students or recent graduates (within two years) to join our Graduate Program.
You may have all or some of the following:
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Interest in data analytics, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Comfort asking questions and learning through feedback
- Alignment with Deloitte's values and inclusive culture
- You'll be studying towards or have completed a relevant degree, such as Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering (Data Science) or similar
