Employment Tax Senior Analyst

What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Analyst within our Employment Tax team, you will work in an advisory capacity assisting our clients to navigate complex employment tax matters, and understand and support their respective business needs.  You will be working with a diverse client portfolio across a wide range of industries and sectors, including government departments and ASX listed companies, all with large-scale employee payroll functions.  

 

The work itself will involve advising on legislative requirements relating to payroll, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and fringe benefits tax (FBT), mitigating compliance risks and providing innovative solutions.  Each set of client circumstances presents its own challenges, so you will be able to continuously expand upon your expertise in this dynamic and ever-changing area of tax.

About the team

The employment tax team, working collaboratively with other market-leading teams at Deloitte, combines tax research, automation techniques and data analytics, to advise and assist employers to maximise performance and achieve sustainable compliance with respect to its employment tax and reporting obligations.
