What will your typical day look like?  

 

In this role, you will have a key leadership role to engage with high-profile public-sector clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority operational related problems. You will also:

  • Lead a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive value and performance through their business operations
  • Drive connection and impact for some of the most inspiring public sector programs and organisations
  • Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of complex operations transformation and the ability to manage several client projects concurrently
  • Draw on your pre-existing experience, coupled with Deloitte’s approaches to Structured Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Operating Model Design, Design Thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, and experience from our global network.
  • Work with leaders to discover and shape new market opportunities including preparation of proposals and thought leadership
  • Drive capability building in our team to ensure excellence in client service delivery, through leadership, coaching and learning and development activities.
  • Work with the leadership of our practice to optimise and lead on ways of working across projects, resource management, collaboration, and team engagement.

We are seeking applications from leader’s practitioners with extensive operations advisory, transformation, program orchestration or similar experience in Federal Government.

 

You are someone with:

 

  • Prior management consulting experience or a senior internal advisory role with proven experience as a trusted business advisor to senior client leaders
  • Demonstrated experience in Operating Model Design, Process Re-engineering and Optimisation, Service Design, and Digital Transformation
  • Proven experience leading complex projects in a client facing/advisory role, managing senior relationships and large diverse teams, virtually and face to face
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems using a hypothesis-based approach alongside strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated experience in leading client pursuits and ability to adapt to market trends
  • The ability to quickly build rapport and grow client relationships to establish a strong network in market
  • Experience in a leadership role emphasizing team growth, coaching, resource management, people, and culture
  • Minimum AGSVA baseline clearance
  • Canberra-based.
