What will your typical day look like?

As a Digital Strategist at Deloitte Digital, you will use your prior consulting or technology leadership experience to sell, plan and deliver strategic consulting engagements that help our clients deliver value through digital transformation. You will be considered a safe pair of hands who can communicate simple solutions to complex problems for our clients , to high standards, and on-time.

 

You will need to:

  • Shape engagement approaches and teams that can respond to our client’s needs with professionalism, agility, and expertise
  • Help our clients understand how digital technologies, approaches and mindsets can be leveraged to power positive business change and create value for their stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and networks
  • Contribute to business development activities by developing proposals and participating in pre-sales activities
  • Co-design new business models, products, services, experiences and operating models.
  • Lead research to help inform choices made with customer, digital and innovation strategies, including analysis and synthesis of data to generate customer insights to apply to the improvement of meeting customer needs.
  • Determine the digital return on investment that our clients will achieve through the implementation or development of new digital capabilities e.g. for digital marketing or customer experience platforms.
  • Coach other members of the Deloitte team with a focus on crafting a high-performing, rewarding and inclusive professional environment.
  • Pursue constant learning and self-development.

Digital strategy, design and transformation will be at the core of your conceptual thinking but you must be able to deliver ideas and solutions that bring brands to life and ensure strong user engagement through multiple channels. You will display a natural passion for your craft and a well-informed view on user experience principles and digital trends. Internally, you will help maintain and evolve the creative culture within the agency. Overall, you will have a passion for creating customer-centred experiences that delight end users and that solve business problems.

 

You are someone with:

  • Relevant consulting, digital agency or industry experience with exposure to working in digital project teams in a client-facing environment, including being comfortable with a non-linear process, ease in ambiguity, and flexibility to adjust as things shift.
  • A love for working with digital products and services, and an understanding of how the landscape works in the modern world.
  • A keen interest in digital innovation and an appreciation for customer insights and industry trends. Experience and interests in the use of human-centred design, current use of technology and an understanding of emerging trends and technologies as they relate to strategy (e.g. digital, cloud, AI).
  • The ability to work closely with clients and key stakeholders to understand their core problems and objectives, contribute to robust digital investment roadmaps, and define requirements and releases for their digital products and services.
  • Strong understanding of the development process, project management principles, client relationship management, and pre-sales activities.
  • Skills to understand and define business scenarios and design detailed processes.
  • Exceptional analytical, design and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and coaching junior staff.
  • Fantastic attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, or with a team.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to learn new things and teach others what you know
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills

 

It will be a bonus if you have any of the following:

  • Experience in working with CRM systems like Salesforce or Dynamics 365
  • Experience in working with CMS’s like Adobe, Sitecore or Drupal.
  • Experience with cloud technologies like AWS and/or Azure
  • Understanding of internet security issues and mitigation strategies
