What will your typical day look like?  

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in the Industrials team, you will provide exceptional client service and apply your experience to:

  • Be part of a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of strategic objectives for our clients
  • Support some of the most visible and important nation-building programs across both public and private sector organisations
  • Apply project management skills to coordinate highly effective teams, while guiding junior colleagues and building strong client relationships
  • Assist and support business development opportunities, including preparing proposals for new client engagements
  • Undertake extensive strategy, operations and transformation focused training and development (both structured and on the job)
  • Potential opportunity to experience borderless careers through international assignments and secondments

Our expertise extends to driving technology-driven transformations and addressing climate and transition risks, thereby fostering resilient organisations.

 

With a multidisciplinary approach, our team integrates management consulting advisory with specialised knowledge in assets, digital strategies, and technology landscapes. This ensures that our clients’ decisions and investments align with the evolving demands of today’s transformations.

 

Our portfolio includes working with defence and federal government clients, where we apply our deep understanding of their unique challenges and regulatory environments. This involves delivering tailored solutions that meet stringent requirements while driving innovation and efficiency.

In response to strong client demand for our services, we have multiple roles for outstanding Senior Consultant level practitioners.

 

You are a highly motivated individual with: 

  • Extensive experience in delivering complex projects in a client facing/advisory role, either in-house or in a Consulting environment
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver compelling arguments at executive and working level
  • Curiosity to learn and passionate about develop oneself and others as well
  • Excited to collaborate in a team environment to solve complex business problems 
  • Expanding work experience in large transformative and nationally critical programs that incorporating both a strategy and implementation lens
  • Passionate about delivering real organisational outcomes
  • Ability to plan and deliver streams of work, including defining client problems, co-designing solutions and presenting to senior client stakeholders
  • Advanced problem solving, business analysis and project delivery skills
  • Contribute significantly to thought leadership, talent development, people leadership and running of Deloitte’s business in Canberra.
  • Have or be eligible for AGSVA baseline clearance
