We are expanding our team to meet growing client demand in the Federal Government and Defense sectors for practical advice and hands-on support across complex engineering challenges, including: 

• Legacy modernization 

• Microservices and event-driven architecture 

• Infrastructure and cloud migration 

• Cloud optimization and more 

This role is ideal for high-performing, early-career engineering professionals who want to shape how clients use technology — particularly cloud, data, and Generative AI — to drive real business value. 

We operate at the intersection of engineering strategy, enterprise architecture, and cloud modernization, and we are leading the way in responsible Generative AI by building the governance frameworks and patterns that enable safe, scalable adoption.

Who We Look For 

You are an experienced technology professional who has worked in one or more of the following areas: 

• Software engineering 

• Cloud engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP) 

• Infrastructure and networking 

• Application or cloud security 

• System integration 

• Testing and Quality Assurance 

You may be someone who: 

• Comes from a strategy consulting background; or 

• Comes from a technical, hands-on background and demonstrates the interpersonal and problem-solving skills needed for consulting 

Skills & Experience We Value 

You may have some or all of the following: 

• 2+ years’ experience in technology consulting, strategy, or architecture (flexible based on capability and potential) 

• Experience delivering project workstreams with increasing autonomy 

• Strong strategic thinking, roadmap development, and hypothesis-driven problem solving 

• Confident communication and facilitation skills, including executive-level storytelling 

• Ability to manage stakeholders and build trusted relationships 

• Experience with enterprise or solution architecture, delivery governance, or operating model design 

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), FinOps concepts, or modern engineering practices 

• Understanding of data, integration, security, or responsible GenAI patterns 

• Exposure to regulated environments (e.g., public sector, financial services, health, energy, consumer, TMT) 

• Bonus: certifications (TOGAF, cloud, AI), tooling experience (LeanIX, Orbus), or Agile/DevOps methods 

Note: Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance, as required by the Federal Government. 

What Will Your Typical Day Look Like? 

You will: 

• Lead project workstreams, translating technology strategy into executable roadmaps, KPIs, and delivery plans 

• Guide architecture decisions across cloud, data, integration, security, and GenAI, balancing risk, compliance, and delivery speed 

• Build business cases, support delivery governance, and help shape pursuits and RFP responses 

• Develop thought leadership and collaborate with alliance partners to create differentiated, AI-enabled solutions
