Our Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) team, is at the forefront of technology and innovation to help our clients imagine their business, solve the most complex business and technology problems and help them accelerate their transformational journey. We are currently hiring a Senior Manager levels within our TS&T Brisbane practice for the following areas of expertise:
- Business Led Technology Strategy and Business Case Development
- Enterprise Design combining Enterprise Architecture, Service Design and Human Centred Design techniques
- IT Operating Model Transformation
- IT Program Integration including project management and technology enabled transformation delivery.
What will your typical day look like?
- Key service area responsibilities
- Technology strategy development – help organisations articulate how they will use technology as an enabler to achieve strategic business goals
- Technology operating model design and implementation – help organisations define how their technology function should be arranged to enable their strategy and aspirations. Support organisations with operationalising these changes
- Enterprise architecture – help organisations bring their technology strategies to life through alignment of the system landscape and direction.
- Engagement leadership and management
- Manage projects – develop and manage project plans, scope, variations, risk, and knowledge management
- Manage clients – build and manage relationships, interact with key client stakeholders
- Manage fees – track against key metrics, conduct billing and account management
- Lead teams to understand key client objectives and solutions including development of presentation and deliverable structures and dividing work into manageable pieces
- Deliver engagements in alignment with Deloitte’s methodologies for delivering core services
- Having accountability for the development and fulfillment of the engagement work plan - to time and budget
- Market and Practice leadership
- Lead people – manage, counsel, coach, mentor
- Lead proposals and business development – shape and contribute to responses

About the team
Our dynamic Brisbane team sits as part of a connected national and APAC team. It is responsible for answering the most challenging client problems: how can Technology strategy enable a business to deliver outcomes; how do we select and design technology to enable growth; how do we structure their enterprise and domain architecture functions; how to solve complex business and technology problems; and how to execute technology-led transformations. By joining our team you gain access to a network of local and global experts to answer our client’s problems and to grow you as a professional.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with 5+ years’ of experience in a client facing role (in-house or professional services). You are self-motivated and have a passion for business and technology transformation across a range of industries, with the below skillset:
- Capability areas: must have proven consulting experience in the context of a number of our major service areas:
- IT strategy and business case development
- IT operating model design and implementation
- Enterprise Architecture
- Engagement leadership and management
- Experience managing senior stakeholders with strong written and verbal communications skills and possess a thirst for knowledge whilst seeking out innovative solutions
- Ability to consult to solve challenges and influence outcomes
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with senior stakeholders in a concise and informative nature with awareness of the need for communication to be fit for purpose of audience and situation
- Market and Practice leadership
- Experience in being able to motivate and coach individuals to high performance levels
- Ability to form and maintain relationships with clients
- Experience leading business development and RFQ/P responses
- Certification or experience applying TOGAF or ITIL methodologies (preferred)
