What will your typical day look like? 

The SAP Enterprise Architect is pivotal in designing and implementing integrated SAP solutions that enhance interoperability across critical business functions, including but not limited to Record to Report (RTR), Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (P2P), Hire to Retire (HTR), and Demand to Fulfill (DTF). This role requires strategic collaboration across departments to ensure seamless integration and optimisation of these processes.

This role drives innovation and aligns IT capabilities with overarching business strategies, significantly contributing to the organisation's competitive advantage and long-term success.

  • Holistic Process Integration: Develop strategies for SAP architecture that ensure interoperability across a broad range of business functions, including RTR, OTC, P2P, HTR, and DTF. Facilitate seamless data exchange and process integration to optimise workflows.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, sales, procurement, HR, supply chain, and IT teams. Collaborate to understand and address their specific process requirements, ensuring SAP solutions align with departmental objectives and enhance cross-functional operations.
  • Solution Design and Implementation: Architect SAP solutions that support the comprehensive integration of critical business processes & SAP solutions. Manage the implementation to ensure these solutions drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the organisation.  Have a solid understanding of the SAP technical landscape e.g. Landscapes, Infrastructure, ERP, BTP, Cloud integration and the SAP Cloud Suite of Products etc.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement innovative SAP capabilities that improve operational excellence. Lead initiatives to refine and optimise business processes within the SAP framework.
  • Change Leadership: Guide change management activities to promote the adoption of integrated SAP solutions. Provide training and ongoing support to ensure users leverage these solutions effectively.

  

About the Team 

 
Deloitte's Enterprise Application SAP practice helps clients solve complex business issues by combining process and industry knowledge with deep expertise in enabling technologies and packaged software and this team is expanding rapidly. 

 
We are seeking talented SAP Enterprise/Solution Architects to become a critical member of Deloitte’s growing SAP practice. These roles will require you to work on client sites, supporting them throughout the whole project life cycle from Design to Go Live. 

 

Outside of your client facing and advisory work, you will also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Deloitte’s SAP practice. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (typically over 15 years) in SAP consulting with a focus on multi-process integration.
  • Expertise in SAP modules relevant to RTR, OTC, P2P, MFG, and DTF, such as FI/CO, SD, MM, MFG, and SCM.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects requiring deep process insight.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate process needs and design integrated SAP solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and cloud suite technologies like SAP BTP, IBP etc.
  • Certification in SAP architecture or relevant modules is advantageous.
  • Experience with business process modelling and continuous improvement methodologies.
