What will your typical day look like?
You will design and run performance tests that reflect real user behaviour, using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner or Gatling. Day to day, you will review requirements, build test scripts, monitor system performance, and analyse results to uncover bottlenecks, stability issues and opportunities to improve resilience.
You will work closely with developers, project teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, recommend tuning strategies and track progress. You will also support test automation activities, contribute to retrospectives, and keep learning across cloud, DevOps and emerging technologies including AI.

Deloitte’s Engineering, AI & Data team helps clients use technology to solve complex challenges and build more agile, resilient organisations. You will join a collaborative team with a strong mix of engineering, data and delivery skills, with plenty of support, variety and room to grow.
Enough about us, let's talk about you. You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

3+ years of experience in performance testing
-
Experience designing workload models, scalability tests, stability tests and stress tests

Strong skills in JMeter, LoadRunner or Gatling, with experience in at least two
-
Experience diagnosing performance issues and recommending tuning improvements

Performance testing experience across APIs, databases, microservices, message queues or FTP
-
Experience testing enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP or Workday
-
Familiarity with observability tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics or Splunk
-
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, cloud technologies or infrastructure as code
-
Basic knowledge of test automation tools such as Karate, Playwright or Selenium
-
Strong analytical skills, communication skills and adaptability
Note : Candidate must be an AU citizen, NV1 preferred due to project requirements.
