We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PeopleSoft Payroll Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the PeopleSoft Payroll systems for our clients, ensuring that payroll processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the implementation and upgrade of PeopleSoft Payroll module, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and support the PeopleSoft Payroll system, including troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with client’s HR, Finance, and IT departments to streamline payroll processes and integrate with other systems.
  • Develop and maintain payroll reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the payroll team and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular system audits and reviews to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Stay current with PeopleSoft updates, patches, and best practices, and apply them to enhance system functionality.
  • Coordinate and manage user training sessions and create comprehensive documentation for system processes and procedures.
  • Participate in payroll-related projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with PeopleSoft Payroll systems.
  • Proven experience in leading PeopleSoft Payroll implementations and upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft Payroll configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in PeopleSoft or payroll processing (preferred).

 

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Experience with other PeopleSoft HCM modules.
  • Knowledge of SQL and PeopleSoft Query.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based payroll solutions and integrations.
  • Experience in change management and user training.
