Modelling & Insights – Senior Consultant

We’re growing our Modelling & Insights team in Brisbane and we are looking for a Senior Consultant who is curious, commercially minded and excited by solving complex problems that really matter.

In this role you will contribute to a variety of client engagements. You will work at the heart of major capital investments and transactions, policy decisions and strategic analysis, partnering with leading organisations across the private and public sectors. You will help articulate, solve and communicate solutions to complex problems through the use of quantitative analysis. You’ll be supported by a high-performing, collaborative team who genuinely enjoy what they do, invest in each other’s development, and celebrate success.

What will your typical day look like?

No two days are the same, but you can expect to:

About the team

Our Modelling & Insights team advises clients on their most critical decisions, from major infrastructure to growth investments and strategic analysis. We support clients with forecasting, scenario planning and business case development, often in complex and high-profile situations. Our advice is underpinned by robust, fit-for-purpose financial models that help clients test assumptions, understand risk and make confident, well-informed decisions.

Enough about us, let's talk about you.

You don’t need to tick every box, but you’ll likely bring:

• A curious mindset and a positive attitude.
• A genuine interest in financial modelling and commercial problem solving.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (or a strong desire to build them quickly)
• 2+ years’ experience in:
• Financial modelling; or
• A relevant quantitative role (e.g. audit, tax, consulting, analytics) with a desire to transition into modelling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to apply a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
